24 — Years since Williams played her first match at the US Open. She defeated Nicole Pratt, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 in the first round in 1998, for her first of 108 career singles wins in Flushing Meadows.
40 — Serena Williams is now the fourth woman in the Open Era to have earned Grand Slam match victories in her teens, 20s, 30s and 40s.
29,959 — Another record night session crowd at the US Open. Fans showed up in droves to watch and celebrate what could be Serena’s final appearance at the US Open, as she moved past Kontaveit in second-round action on Wednesday night.
7 — Number of set points that American Jenson Brooksby saved in the second set of his 6-4, 7-6(10), 6-1 triumph over 25th-seeded Borna Coric.
4:35 — Elapsed time of Lorenzo Musetti's 3-6, 7-5, 6-4, 3-6, 7-6(9) victory over David Goffin on Day 2. It is the longest match of the tournament thus far.
3:12 — On the women’s side, Lauren Davis' first-round victory over Lucia Bronzetti remains the longest match through four days of play.
2 — Match points saved in the second round by Aryna Sabalenka against Kaia Kanepi. The No. 6 seed rallied from 5-1 down and saved the match points in the second-set tiebreak to avoid the upset.
4 — Chinese women—Zheng Qinwen, Yuan Yue, Xiyu Wang and Zhang Shuai—that have reached the third round at the US Open, marking the first time four Chinese players have reached that far at a Slam for the first time in Open Era history.
128 — The fastest recorded serve on the women’s side was recorded by Coco Gauff. The American was clocked at 128 during her second-round win over Elena Gabriela Ruse.
1946 — It had been 76 years since a Chinese man reached the third round of a Grand Slam, but China’s Wu Yibing has broken the curse by becoming the first Chinese man to ever reach the third round at the US Open. He faces top-seeded Daniil Medvedev in the third round.
174 — China’s Wu is the lowest-ranked player in either draw.

46 — 19-year-old Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz has tied Stefanos Tsitsipas at the top of the ATP’s 2022 win list by defeating Federico Coria in straight sets on Day 4 in Arthur Ashe Stadium. Alcaraz is 46-9 with four titles on the season.

1997 — 4 British men are into the third round at Flushing Meadows, the most since Wimbledon 1997. Andy Murray is joined by No. 7 seed Cameron Norrie, No. 20 seed Daniel Evans and rising southpaw Jack Draper.
1933 — A quartet of British men had not reached the third round at the US Open since 1933.
14 — Number of players that made their Grand Slam debut at the US Open this year. Of those 14, one—Wu Yibing—has advanced to the third round.
32 — China’s Zheng Qinwen leads all women with 32 aces through two rounds.

21-0 — Nadal improves to a perfect 21-0 at the Grand Slams in 2022 with his second-round win over Fabio Fognini. The 2022 Australian Open and Roland Garros champion went 5-0 at Wimbledon, but had to pull out before the semifinals due to an abdominal injury.
