For more than 25 years, IBM has been the Official Information Technology Provider to the US Open. Every year, for two very special weeks, we’re proud to bring the US Open to life for more than 10 million fans, media, coaches and players. 

In collaboration with the USTA, IBM designs and develops the digital experience of the tournament through the Official US Open digital platforms, including USOpen.org and the US Open app, delivered by the IBM Cloud, and secured by Watson for Cyber Security.

We also surround that experience with data and insight, adding context to the action on the court through the analysis of matches in progress. We use the enterprise-grade artificial intelligence of IBM Watson to identify and deliver the tournament’s most exciting highlights to fans. And we help the more than 700,000 fans that visit the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center navigate all the schedules, directions and dining options with Watson Virtual Assistant.
