2023 US Open champion and fan favorite Coco Gauff gave the crowd at Flushing Meadows a drama-filled Round 1 victory that was fit for a Broadway stage. Gauff's 6-4, 6-7(2), 7-5 win over Ajla Tomljanovic gets her a date with Olympic silver medalist Donna Vekic in Round 2 of the 2025 US Open.
