While “love” is a familiar term on the tennis court, it’ll be felt throughout the grounds at the 2025 US Open. Beginning Aug. 18, the first day of Fan Week, tennis lovers will experience Love at the US Open—a special US Open social media campaign that celebrates finding a connection, and maybe even romance, over a shared love of tennis.
Any US Open fan can get in on the fun—no matter where you are. If you found love through a passion for tennis, post your story on your channels using #LoveAtTheUSOpen. For fans exploring the US Open grounds in person, you might get an opportunity to share your love story in ‘man-on-the-street’ interviews conducted by popular dating and relationship influencers who will be roving the grounds during the three weeks.
The love doesn’t stop there. Game, Set, Matchmaker will premiere on YouTube and follows eight couples on their first date at the US Open. Set against the backdrop of all of the great things to do during Fan Week, from jamming out at Silent Disco and cheering on mixed doubles matches, to playing Red Ball and taking a lesson on the court, to enjoying the US Open’s iconic eats and drinks, their first dates are sure to be unforgettable in Flushing Meadows. US Open sponsors Dobel Tequila and Moët & Chandon will also be featured.
At the end of each episode, the couple decides if they want to continue seeing each other. Filmed entirely during Fan Week, Game, Set, Matchmaker episodes will roll out throughout the tournament. Tune in to see who walks away with their real-life doubles partner.
Jonathan Zipper, senior director of social media at the USTA said, “Game, Set, Matchmaker was designed as a celebration of the fans, and as interest grew, so did the opportunity to expand the experience. Love at the US Open is that broader invitation. By opening up the concept to feature multiple stories of connection, we’re reflecting what the US Open truly represents: a global stage not only for sport, but for energy, emotion, and unexpected moments between people. This is about joy, chemistry, and the power of tennis and the US Open to bring people together in ways that go beyond the court.”
