Travis Kelce has played in five Super Bowls with the Kansas City Chiefs, winning three of them. No stranger to high-stakes competition with a trophy on the line, Kelce was a fitting guest at the 2024 US Open men's singles final.
The GQ September issue cover star praised his visit to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center alongside partner Taylor Swift, a double date with teammate Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany. The stars watched eventual champ Jannik Sinner defeat American Taylor Fritz in three sets from a suite in Arthur Ashe Stadium.
“When you see me hanging out at the US Open with Taylor, it may look like the two of us are partying,” Kelce told the magazine. “But I’m just enjoying the fun of being at this really cool event that I always wanted to go to with the person that I love.”
The Chiefs are scheduled to open the 2025 season against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sept. 5, with potential off days coinciding with this year's women's and men's finals. Will pop culture's royal couple grace the US Open again? If so, we'll be... ready for it.
The US Open is known for its cache of celebrity guests, not limited to Kelce and Swift. Meghan Markle, Tina Fey, Ben Stiller and countless other A-listers have made appearances at the tournament throughout the years, with many becoming regulars in Ashe.
