The 2025 US Open will provide three weeks of electrifying entertainment this summer in New York. From Aug. 18 through Sept. 7, the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is the place to be for world-class tennis and so much more.
During all three weeks of the US Open, on-site fans can enjoy many of the same dining experiences, shopping opportunities and activations—and of course, Honey Deuces will be proudly served every day! While each week will include main-draw action, the tennis will look a little different depending on when spectators attend.
Week 1: Aug. 18-23
Week 1 of the US Open, better known as Fan Week, will feature six days of free grounds admission prior to the start of main-draw singles action on Sunday, Aug. 24.
In a fresh twist for 2025, the US Open Mixed Doubles Championship will also take place during this opening week. The new-look event will be ticketed and played in Arthur Ashe Stadium and Louis Armstrong Stadium over two days—Tuesday, Aug. 19, and Wednesday, Aug. 20. Set to feature a blockbuster field that includes teams of top singles players competing for a $1 million winner’s purse, the mixed doubles tournament offers the first opportunity to lift a Grand Slam trophy this year in New York.
The free-to-watch US Open Qualifying tournament will be played on the field courts from Aug. 18-21, with players needing three wins to earn their way into the singles main draw. Alongside this high-stakes action, many of the world’s top players will fine-tune their games in the more casual setting of public practice sessions—also free to watch—in the stadium courts.
Some of those same contenders will also take center stage at Stars of the Open in Ashe, where icons past and present will team up for an engaging evening of tennis on Thursday, Aug. 21.
Week 2: Aug. 24-30
The early rounds of the men’s and women’s singles and doubles tournaments are the main event during the US Open’s middle week, when the NTC grounds will be buzzing with tennis action under the daytime sun and the evening lights. Packed daily schedules will include the first three rounds of men’s and women’s singles action as well as the start of both doubles draws.
Week 3: Aug. 31-Sept. 7
As the field narrows, the spotlight grows on those still standing in Week 3. While the singles and doubles draws boil toward their thrilling conclusions, the wheelchair and junior events keep the party going on the field courts.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the US Open Wheelchair Championships, which has expanded significantly since its 2005 debut and now awards 10 major trophies across the pro and junior levels.
The US Open women’s singles champion will be crowned on Saturday, Sept. 6, before the men’s singles final on Sunday, Sept. 7, putting a bow on a three-week celebration of tennis.
