The 2025 US Open marketing campaign, ‘Spectacular Awaits,’ debuts today featuring Grammy Award-winning artist and producer Mustard, whose voice and music – a one-of-a-kind remix of ‘New York Groove’ – spotlight the growing cultural phenomenon of the tournament as anticipation builds for a bigger-than-ever 2025 event.
This year’s “Spectacular Awaits” campaign debuts nationwide today, as Amex Presale Tickets go on sale (while supplies last). Tickets for the 2025 US Open go on sale to the general public at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 30, via Ticketmaster and USOpen.org.
The concept for this year’s campaign was developed in collaboration with the USTA’s creative agencies, Dentsu Creative along with Daloy Creative, and highlights the barrier-breaking legends and top stars of today who have helped lead the US Open’s cultural ascendance. Mustard – an avid tennis player and regular attendee of the US Open – narrates 30- and 15-second spots set to his unique ‘New York Groove’ remix – content that will be utilized within digital and social campaigns, on national television and through radio and digital audio.
“Mustard is a perfect match for the US Open,” said Nicole Kankam, the USTA’s Managing Director, Pro Tennis Marketing and Entertainment. “His undeniable presence at the forefront of pop culture combined with his love for the sport of tennis make him the quintessential voice of the 2025 US Open that’s set to be bigger and better than ever.”
Mustard is a world-renowned artist and producer whose work includes a number of multi-platinum hits and several Grammy Award-winning records. He began playing tennis regularly three years ago and has become an advocate for all of the sport’s benefits.
