During the US Open finals, energy surges through the grounds as fans watch the world’s best players battle until the end for a chance to raise the legendary trophy. Starting this year, even more visitors will be able to enjoy the electric experience with the inaugural US Open Finals Fan Fest taking place on Saturday, Sept. 7 and Sunday, Sept. 8.
Finals Fan Fest will feature expanded grounds passes, which include official viewing parties in Louis Armstrong Stadium for both the women’s and men’s finals, as well as additional seating options to view the matches on the big screens in Fountain Plaza. The viewing parties in Louis Armstrong Stadium will allow fans to watch the finals on the big screens with a live DJ, special guests and a live feed of celebrity arrivals on the US Open Blue Carpet.
Following the women’s final on Saturday, Sept. 7, the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center will come alive, with Louis Armstrong Stadium transforming from court to stage as the event hosts its first Finals Fan Fest Afterparty, headlined by Grammy-nominated dance music project Galantis. This event requires a separate ticket and will take place at 9 p.m., with rising electronic music star Xandra opening the show.
If you want to dance the night away in Armstrong, the USTA, in conjunction with Avant Gardner/The Brooklyn Mirage, is extending a special presale opportunity for fans that sign up to receive a special presale code, which will begin Thursday Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. ET through 11:59 p.m. ET. Tickets go on sale to the public beginning Friday, Aug. 16 at 10 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster.
“The new Finals Fan Fest is the perfect culmination to the new and expanded three-week US Open and capitalizes on the excitement and drama around the US Open finals. The Finals Fan Fest viewing parties will create a spectacular opportunity for fans to experience one of the most exciting weekends in tennis in new and unique ways,” said Nicole Kankam, USTA Managing Director, Pro Tennis Marketing and Entertainment. “The US Open is famous for its unparalleled and unmatched nighttime atmosphere, and we are excited to take it in an entirely new direction with the Afterparty.”
Galantis is the dance music project of Christian Karlsson (aka Bloodshy). His RIAA gold-certified debut album, “Pharmacy,” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Dance album chart on the strength of platinum-certified single “Peanut Butter Jelly” and the triple platinum-certified smash hit “Runaway (U & I),” which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording. Galantis has received over 7.3 billion cumulative worldwide streams and over 1.9 billion video views to date, and has been declared “one of the most influential and untamed voices in modern music” by GRAMMY.com as the Swedish-born artist continues to evolve and push the boundaries of songwriting within the world of dance music and beyond.
Nine months ago, Xandra was in her last year at the University of Miami when she decided to turn to TikTok to promote her work as a DJ. Her undeniable talent combined with her magnetic personality quickly turned Xandra into a go-to voice for Gen Z audiences. Just this year, the 23-year-old has performed at the F1 Miami Grand Prix, opened for Kygo at the Pegasus World Cup, for Calvin Harris and Kygo at the Palm Tree Festival, and for The Chainsmokers on the Fourth of July. Xandra DJed the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show at this year’s Miami Swim Week, and surprised audiences by making her modeling debut when she walked down the runway.
