The first-ever junior wheelchair Grand Slam trophies will be awarded this weeked at the US Open after the boys' and girls' singles and doubles of the 2022 US Open Wheelchair Championships were played on Friday.
Like their pro counterparts Diede De Groot, Alfie Hewett and Niels Vink, Ben Bartram and Jade Moreira Lanai will play in both the singles and doubles finals. In all, nine players from six different countries will square off for four trophies.
Boys' Singles: (1) Ben Bartram vs. Dahnon Ward
Girls' Singles: Jade Moreira Lanai vs. Yuma Takamuro
Boys' Doubles: (1) Ben Bartram/Dahnon Ward vs. Saalim Naser/Ivar van Rijt
Girls' Doubles: (1) Jade Moreira Lanai/Maylee Phelps vs. (2) Ruby Bishop/Lily Lautenschlager
