10: Number of comebacks from two-sets-to-love down by men’s singles players at the US Open. The all-time record for comebacks from two-sets-to-love down at a major is 14.
18: Age of Carlos Alcaraz, who became the youngest ATP player to reach the Round of 16 at the US Open since 1989, when Pete Sampras (18) and Michael Chang (17) broke through.
2002: 20-year-old Jenson Brooksby became the youngest American to reach the Round of 16 at the US Open since Andy Roddick in 2002.
4: Americans left in the singles draws at Flushing Meadows—Shelby Rogers, Reilly Opelka, Frances Tiafoe, and Jenson Brooksby.

Back in 1998, Marat Safin (ATP), Anna Kournikova, Martina Hingis and Venus Williams (WTA) all reached the second week at the age of 18.
