Welcome to today's edition of "Hot Shots," a USOpen.org-curated look at what you may have missed on social media over the past few days.
As the world continues to respond to the coronavirus pandemic, tennis players took to social media to support their communities, entertain their fans and share their experiences of what day-to-day life looks like without tournaments taking place.
Kicking off this week's Hot Shots is American Noah Rubin, who shared this training video, complete with an eye-popping winner, from a recent practice session at home in New York. (We might ignore that his training partner appeared to call the ball out...)
While Rubin was putting in work on the court, Bethanie Mattek-Sands - who recently captained winning team of WTA stars in exhibition action in Charleston, S.C. - was working on her tan.
2016 US Open finalist Karolina Pliskova and 2019 semifinalist Elina Svitolina got an early start to their weekend plans, complete with scenic views...
...while Gael Monfils got plugged in and ready to stream.
Johanna Konta was asking the tough questions...
...but Amanda Anisimova says she might not have the answers.
Set to turn 30 on July 11, two-time US Open finalist Caroline Wozniacki said goodbye to her 20s...
...Roger Federer revisited the Wimbledon moment he became an international sensation...
...and Billie Jean King celebrated the memory of Arthur Ashe, the first Black man to win in singles at Wimbledon, on the latter's birthday.
And finally, longtime rivals and friends Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert teamed up: the two all-time greats gave kudos to journalist Robin Roberts, who interviewed Evert on Good Morning America earlier this week about her work with the USTA Foundation, on her forehand form.
