The USTA is carefully monitoring the environment surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, and is preparing for all contingencies. We also rely on the USTA’s Medical Advisory Group as well as government and security officials to ensure that we have the broadest understanding of this fluid situation. In all instances, all decisions made by the USTA regarding the US Open will be made with the health and well-being of our players, fans and all others involved in the tournament as the top priority.

Will the 2020 US Open be canceled or postponed?
At this time, the USTA plans to host the US Open as scheduled.
Currently, we are not implementing any changes to the 2020 US Open, and planning for the event is ongoing. We are continually monitoring the evolving COVID-19 situation through regular briefings with government, security and medical experts. The USTA's top priority is the health, safety and well-being of everyone involved with the US Open, including all the fans, ticket holders, players, volunteers and staff.
How is the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center being deployed in New York’s efforts to address the impact of COVID-19?
New York City’s Office of Emergency Management (OEM) coordinated the transformation of 12 indoor tennis courts at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center's Indoor Training Center into almost 100,000 square feet of supplemental hospital space that aims to ease the burden on local NYC hospitals.
Separately, Louis Armstrong Stadium is being utilized to prepare and distribute up to 25,000 packages of meals every day for COVID-19 patients, workers at the city’s various crisis centers, and city children who ordinarily rely on school-provided meals.
How can I help the effort at the National Tennis Center?
We have been heartened by the number of people asking how they can help. Although there is no specific fund at the National Tennis Center, you can donate to our community via the Mayor’s fund, as well as the Health and Hospitals fund.
When will individual tickets for the 2020 US Open go on sale?
Individual tickets typically go on sale to the public in June. When the 2020 on-sale date is confirmed, it will be announced via the US Open Insider Newsletter, on Ticketmaster.com, USOpen.org and US Open social media accounts. Sign up here to subscribe to the US Open Insider Newsletter.
Is the ticket office still open?
In the interests of the health and safety of our fans, staff and everyone in our community, the physical ticket office at the National Tennis Center is not currently open. I have paid for a Full Series subscription or a Mini-Plan to the 2020 US Open. Will I receive a refund if the 2020 US Open is canceled?
If a decision is made to cancel the 2020 US Open, the USTA will offer Full Series subscribers along with Mini-Plan holders the option of either a full refund or credit towards a ticket subscription or Mini-Plan to the 2021 US Open.
I have purchased a hospitality ticket package. What happens if the tournament is canceled?
If a decision is made to cancel the 2020 US Open, the USTA will offer the option of either a full refund of payment that has been made for your 2020 US Open Hospitality Package or credit towards the 2021 US Open. Please contact your hospitality representative for any additional questions about your specific account.
In the event that the tournament is canceled, what is the ticket policy for tickets purchased after 2020 US Open individual tickets go on sale?
If the 2020 US Open is canceled, individual tickets purchased for single sessions will be refunded.
