The 2008 US Open Junior Singles Qualifying tournament . FREE to the public . will take place Friday, August 29, and Saturday, August 30, at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center practice courts (P10 . P20), Flushing Meadows-Corona Park. The Singles Qualifying will consist of 32 boys and 32 girls, with eight boys and eight girls qualifying into the main draw.
Ricardis Berankis of Lithuania defeated Jerzy Janowicz of Poland to win the 2007 US Open Boys' Singles title. Check back the week of September 1st for the 2008 Junior Championship draw.
