The mixed doubles winners or top available finishers from each of the 13 US Open National Playoffs Sectional Qualifying Tournaments advanced to the US Open National Playoffs – Mixed Doubles Championship, held Aug. 20-23 in New Haven, Conn., in conjunction with the Connecticut Open, the final Emirates Airline US Open Series event of the season.
The winners of the Mixed Doubles Championship earned a wild card into the main draw of the 2014 US Open mixed doubles draw, held Aug. 25 – Sept. 8 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
Jacqueline Cako and Joel Kielbowicz were the winners of the 2014 US Open National Playoffs - Mixed Doubles Championship. They became the first National Playoffs winners to compete on a stadium court at the US Open when their opening-round mixed doubles match was held on the Grandstand.
